Meetings are going to be the death of me!

This week has been crazy busy!

Other than Monday (P-day) and Thursday (Weekly Planning) we had a meeting every other day… Tuesday we had our District Meeting,
Wednesday we facetimed into the other district meeting and was a part of it from our apartment office haha. Elder Petersen was asked to lead the missionaries in a recitation of our purpose, so the district
leader put his iPad in the front of the room and we addressed the room electronically! Supa-sweet. The District Leader was supposed to show a driving safety video to the district, but we had the DVD….So we brought up the video on our portable DVD player and held it up to the iPad so everyone could watch! hahah it was hilarious.

Friday we had Mission Leadership Council again! Elder Reed drove up here 3 hours from his area for it and it was an awesome reunion again! Love that man as life its self! He has me dying with laughter
everytime. In the meeting we talked a lot about Ward Mission Plans and how to help prepare our stakes and wards for making them. We talked about having another Book of Mormon mass invite/read/handout again! We handed out over 6,000 copies as a mission and this year we are going to hand out 8,200! and then invite the members to hand some out on top of that!

I was in charge of taking care of some sisters scriptures at the
meeting and that night she called asking for them… Long story short
I told her Id get back to her because they ended up 3 Hours south in
Waco…haha uh-oh…. ;]

I went on an exchange in a District Leader area this week and (I never thought Id say it butttt….) It was awesome to be back out on bike! I loved it! Contacting everyone of of those rude Texans was a trip! We taught a couple random people on the streets, and without fail, everyone we talked to HAD a book of mormon already! GO MEMBERS! There was a guy who said that he went to church with his member uncle and, “the missionaries used to come over weekly – it was a regular thing!” GO UNCLE! another man said he went camping with a buddy and his buddys brother (who was a member) and he said they talked about the gospel around the campfire! He asked for another Book of Mormon and, “Are yall going to be in the area anytime soon? Heck Bob yeah we are! GO MEMBER BUDDY!

Of course Conference was shweetish fish! “The Lord will qualify whom he calls.” was a favorite quote. I forgot my notes at the apartment, so Ill list some next week! As for the speakers:

-In the Saturday Morning Session I loved Elder Lawrence’s talk on
steady improvement!
-In the Saturday Afternoon Session I loved Elder Hollands talk on
mothers! Even though Im not one, nor ever will be, it was still pretty
boss! And made me really grateful for my mother and grandmothers!
-In the Priesthood Session, I loved Elder Anderson’s talk on Faith –
it was great!
-Also in the Priesthood Session, President Eyring’s words on our
Priesthood callings brought great comfort.
– I loved all of them, lets be honest….

I love our three new apostles! I could see the mantle fall on them as
much as I can see the mantle fall upon President Nelson in his recent
calling to be the president of the Quorum of the 12.

This week is SMC week again….So herding those cats again – pray for
us that the Ward Mission Leaders and Stake Presidency cut us some
slack on Sunday.

I love you all so much! Keep on strong!
