Sense of Humor

It is said that, “A sense of humor is an escape valve for the pressures of life . . . and helps revelation” (Elder Richard G. Scott)

If this is the case, I totally want to be in on a conversation with The Presidency and the 12 Apostles cause with all that revelation, they must be hilarious!

We’ve had some pretty funny experiences the last couple of weeks, but one of my absolute favorites was when we were on exchange with Kenny and I told him to say, “OHWA TAHFOO LIE-AM” really fast. It was hilarious! (Yes I got a video!) Thank you mother for teaching me this trick 🙂 as for the rest of you, try it out! Haha

We went on exchange with the Belton Elders, Elders Sikaleti and Jeffries. I went with Elder Jeffries in his area and we had a grand old time contacting people in the streets and placing Books of Mormon. One of my favorite guys we contacted was a big bearded skinny guy with one of those English hat things (don’t judge, I don’t know what it’s called…). As we came up to him he yelled, “MORMONS! I LOVE MORMONS!!” He tried hard to know our first names and said he’d love to “hangout” with us sometime. He has read D&C and such and just can’t wrap his head around some of our beliefs (as I couldnt understand his…) He’ll figure it out eventually!

We do service every Thursday handing out boxes of food to those in need from a food pantry and it’s awesome! Meet the craziest people!

We did service at a non profit thrift store and helped them organize their blankets, sheets, and curtains.

We finished our lessons with Christina! She will be baptized a week from Saturday! She is so ready!

We have been teaching Gina and she is slowly progressing. She has the desire though!

Wesley has been making the changes in his life to get closer to baptism!

We are meeting with Elder Falabella this Friday! He will first meet with the MLC group, then with the rest of the mission will join us. The biggest hassle is trying to find rides to bring our zone up 2-3 hours north and bring us back down. We have a mini van, so we are taking the Killeen Zone Leaders and our Sister Training Leaders up Wednesday night so we all don’t have to wake up at 4 in the morning to drive up.

We also are under the responsibility to find Hermana Ford, Elder Williams, Elder Escobar, Elder Barber, Elder Law (All Waco Zone), and Elder Evensen (Killeen Zone) all in the same car to go up to the metroplex on Wednesday for a followup trainers meeting and departing temple trip.

Pray for us!

Love y’all!

Updates

I remember the drive up to Payson, Arizona each year for our Fathers and Sons outing. The boys would stay up all night so that we could sleep on the EXTREMELY long 2 hour car ride. I remember our car rides up to Utah each summer to spend time with family. Mom stuffed the BMW (Big Mormon Wagon) with lots of snacks and Dad would hook up the Nintendo 64/Gamecube to keep us occupied.

What happened to time? Why has it become so fast? and why are car
rides different then when we were kids?

Before I go on, Ill share a couple sweet experiences that happened
before the car rides:

This week we were blessed to have interviews with President Ames.
Elder Judy and I were in charge of the scheduling of when missionaries get training (and train them), and when they will be interviewed. Its always difficult to figure out the best schedule because President loves his time with the missionaries and it usually goes over, so adding it all up, it can go hours over! I was talking to some other missionaries who did their scheduling with their zones and they said it went over about 3-4 hours! So we sat down and brainstormed how to train all 3 districts and get them interviewed in a timely manner.

Interviews were great! President is so understanding and gives
everyone the benefit of the doubt and trusts us so much. We finished everything 10-15 min late! President was a little tensed until he realized we had ended when planned. It was awesome! Ill take a snapshot of how it all worked.

Tuesday night we went with a member to the Stake center to do some rescue visits to less active members. NOBODY showed up! Not even the stake president, ward mission leaders or ward missionaries. just 2 members and 2 sets of missionaries. President forgot his flash drive at the church during interviews so he asked us to bring it to him. He was having dinner with a senior couple in the zone and planned to have 2 lessons there. We knocked on the door and they let us in. Their appointments both canceled as well! Tis missionary work….. But they sat us down and gave us some Bluebell! It finally came back on shelf after 7-8 months! And we were with President Ames in a casual atmosphere. It was a way cool unintended experience.

Car ride time!! ⬇️

Elder Moss, our mission vehicle coordinator called us up and said that we need to bring our minivan and 2 other cars from our zone up to Mission Leadership Council this week to trade them in. He needed them in at 3pm thursday, but our meeting was Friday morning…So since it was a 2.5 hour drive, we spent thursday afternoon in the mission office doing our weekly planning.

While we were there with the Killeen Zoneleaders and our Sister
Training Leaders (who also come from the south like us and brought the other 2 cars up), Elder Childs fell asleep on the ground. President
Ames walked in to say goodbye and walked around him to shake our
hands. When President was on his way out, Elder Childs woke up and jumped to his feet and mumbled, “Oh, no, no, Im not asleep…” And we just laughed! After President left, Elder Childs looked at us and said, “Come on! Warn a Brotha!” hahaha Then Elder Argyle showed him a picture we took with him sleeping and with President!

That night we split up and went proselyting with some other
missionaries in the Colleyville Zone. Elder Argyle and I were assigned to go on exchange in GRAPEVINE! That meant I went back to my old area with my last companion Elder Petersen and a past companion Elder Case! It was a blast! We went and saw people I taught and had a dandy old time.

MLC was awesome! So insightful on how to best work with Ward Mission Leaders and Ward Councils better. It is always so powerful!

We went Friday morning to play Ultimate Football with the APs, Killeen Zone Leaders, and Euless Elders!

Yesterday we had Wesley, Christina, and Gina come to church!

Christina is on her way! She is so ready! Just a couple more lessons left.

Gina is understanding more and said she will be baptized when she
knows its right!

Wesley has a plan to keep the Word of Wisdom!

I bought 2 nice pairs of shoes at a thrift store for 4 bucks!

Stay true to the faith. I want yall to think about what the one
calamity it is talking about in this scripture. If you remind me, Ill
tell you what it is next week :]

Love you to death!

“…The trying of your faith worketh patience”

Tuesday morning we left our apartment at 8am to start what we knew would be a busy day. First, we dropped off a huge whiteboard to the YSA Elders for their wall/planning and to inspect their apartment. We had to put our backrests all the way horizontal and sit up straight to make sure the board could make it into the minivan. After, we made the hour drive down even more south to Temple (“Temple Trip!” We wish….) to clean out some Elders apartment (whose area was closed down last transfer). We then went to the Temple District Meeting and had some awesome trainings on consecration.

It was really cool to be able to be down there because with such a huge zone, we probably see the furthermost Elders and Sisters about 1-2 times a transfer. After, we had lunch and talked to the Belton Elders (District Leader for the Temple District) about the exchange we were going to go on that afternoon to the following afternoon. When we were finished, we continued moving things out of the Elders apartment and enlisted the Killeen Zoneleaders to come out to help (They have a truck, we have a minivan. You bet they were jealous of our moving capacity!).

We were loading some furniture into the truck and went for the last of it inside. The door was locked! We quickly realized that I left it at the Belton Elders Apartment back in Belton. So we tried everything – asking for the apartment office for another one, checking the car, and even asking the elderly lady downstairs if we could stand on her outside table to try to get in the window upstairs…But nothing worked, so we had to drive back to Belton and let everyone leave and we finished the rest on our own. The Killeen ZLs were actually on exchange with the APs, so we had Elder Tanner (AP) with us. At one point as were were working, Elder Tanner told us that he had something to tell us “on exchange tomorrow.” I felt my face go pale and I pulled Elder Judy aside and said, “Are we going on exchange with the APs tomorrow?!” And he was like, “I know nothing about that!” We later find out that they had left a voicemail on our phone, but 2 weeks ago there was a password put on our voicemail so we couldnt check any of them! So we scrambled and made arrangements to cancel our exchange with Belton and go on one exchange with the APs.

PHEW! that wasnt even all of it!

It was definitely the most stressful day of my life! We even had to
cancel appointments last moment.

“…that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” (James 1:3)
“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall
come forth as gold.” (Job 23:10)

We had some great rain storms and had some fun contacting people.

Christina is so ready for baptism after the 2nd meeting! very prepared before hand.

We met with a Recent  Converts Mom Gina and she has been coming to church and super excited to learn. She asked us how to gain a greater desire and we told her about the seed grown in Alma.

Words cannot describe the things Ive seen this week – Waco is so
crazy! Pictures will go into the Photosharing.

We got some watermellon to carve this week for Holloween! also
recreated the Elder Reed and Elder Householder Holloween experience from last year!

Cool story for you – Jacob is taking a dance class with My Companion Elder Judys Brother!

I love you all!

Elder Householder

PS: it has been 19 months today! Thats SO crazy – time flies!

“Brotha, thats what they ALL say…”

We had an interesting week!

Monsoon season in Arizona is one thing, but to have torrential rainfall for three days straight is another! It was awesome! Luckily our van is a beast and could get us anywhere.

We have been working with Kenny for a while now. He’s the one that called us up and said that its time to get baptized. He has been coming to church, reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. He has been feeling the spirit very strong. We set up his interview with President Ames councilor for after church. We came to church and the ward membership clerk pulled us aside and said, “So Kenny says he’s already been baptized…” My first thought thought was, “Brotha, thats what they ALL say…” then he said, “No, like his dad told him that he was baptized into our church as a child, ‘Really, ask them, they keep records of EVERYTHING’…and we found his records!” We were so surprised! So basically we lost that “Golden” Investigator. We canceled the interview. No wonder why he felt the need to be baptized as he’s been coming to church – he has been receiving the Holy Ghost as he has been taking the Sacrament!

We got a referral this week named Christina! We taught her for the first time and gave her a soft baptismal invite. She looked at us and said, “Well…Ive kinda already made the decision this is the way I want to go…” Turns out her boyfriend is a member from Utah and his dad is a bishop! She sat down with him and asked him a load of questions, did a lot of research, and read up until Mosiah, and THEN started to meet with us! She already has a testimony of it all, she just said she needs to know how to join the church! We laid it all out for her explaining the lessons we will teach, the committments we will leave and asked her if November 28th would be a good day to be baptized. She was like, “Woah! Thats a funny coincidence, my boyfriend’s family will be in town from Utah that weekend!” So it is, folks, MEMBER WORK! It all started with the member boyfriend asking, “So, what do you believe in your church?” and just guiding her gently without pushing, she came to know it was true for herself.

We came out of our apartment one night after praying where we should go. As we backed up, a lady in our apartment complex yelled to us and asked us to pray for her (Karen). We went over to her and talked for a good while about her hard times – we developed a friendship with her and helped her feel Gods love. She doesnt want to meet with us yet, but the seed is planted! Another time we were walking out, she came over and gave us some gumbo and rolls! She’ll get there!

In ward council our Bishop told everyone that we just got our 12th baptism for this ward this year. The ward set the goal for 12 baptisms this year. The Bishop asked, “Did we hit our goal this year?” “Yes!!” Everyone said confidently. “No, we did not,” he said. “Our goal was these 12 names. We did not baptize most of these people. We need to be more focused on these people.” I got so happy! This is the vision I feel every ward council should have, but many dont. They understand how it is all supposed to work.

Waco is amazing! Has the most interesting people I have ever met! It is a whole different world over here.

I love my companion Elder Judy! We have a blast together.

Keep an eye out for the small acts of service you can do for strangers. They notice the light you give off.

I love you all!

Elder Householder

Wacko

Hey Everyone!

This week has been exactly what I expected it to be – and more. I wish yall could been here for these experiences, these people kill me! This is really a whole different world down here.

We had a baptism on Saturday that I had nothing to do with. haha
Transfers will do that to you.

Here in Waco their streets are for the most part a grid system,
but…..slanted 45 degrees to the east….When someone says, “North
Waco” its actually east. Texas does not understand construction! We were driving to an appointment and the GPS told us to go down a street we found to be a dead-end. The GPS said it was a through street, but….it was a forrest right in the middle of the neighborhood! So we parked, walked down this trail, over a bridge (I felt like I was in
brazil or something) and up another trail. We eventually got to the
otherside and found the street ours was supposed to connect to… haha

We found train tracks in the middle of the road (inside the road) in a residential area that was only about 20 feet long… Huh? I could go
on forever! Some stories will have to be for after the mission…pretty weird stuff.

Weve been blessed with back to back lessons this whole week! Its been awesome! All of our referrals have turned out legit. except for one Ill tell shortly.

We were doing service and we got a call from Kenny! He said he was
studying the Book of Mormon and looking up words he didnt understand and said he is ready to be baptized! He said he doesnt have anymore concerns and will align his actions with the commandments and we set a date for him! So excited for him!

We had a referral that lives out a good 45 min away that we decided to contact one afternoon. We plugged the address into the GPS and went on our way. We soon were out in the middle of nowhere – passing fences with cows, grass, bushes, and cactus out on the freeway. Eventually our direction turned onto a gravel road and I was getting suspicious. “Our referral lives out HERE?!” we followed the GPS trusting that it was taking us where we needed to go. THEN our road turned into straight dirt! “Now hold on…” Elder Judy was just going for it. I was cool with it all (fun adventure) until we got to the cattle gate.

“What the stack?” I said, and Elder Judy got out of the car and opened the cattle gate. Following the plan is one thing, but driving a
minivan down a grassy trail is another thing! After driving down
the…trail? we got to a locked fence and turned around and headed
back. Enjoy our pictures and videos! hahah

Almost everyone we talk to will listen to us, it is the promised land.

We’ve been running hard and Im very excited for this transfer! Elder
Judy is awesome!

Thanks for everything, Love you all!

I Love You Arizona!

Family & Friends,

Its been 6 weeks! A Transfer! Hannah Montana Say What?! Yes, I will be leaving Elder Petersen and will be replacing Elder Reed in Waco! (He’s a dead man going home on Thursday). This is going to be WACKO. Ill be 3 hours south in a very….diversified area! Driving the only minivan in the mission! Ill be with the awesome Elder Judy! Im excited! T’will be my first time out of the metroplex in a year and a half! My new address is:

4372 lakeshore Dr. #____ Waco TX 76710

President Ames has been talking recently about how there is no
“latter” in mission leadership – each is called to lead in different
ways. This transfers was really weird – a couple missionaries jumped
from Senior Companion to Zoneleader without being a district leader, the new AP is a spanish missionary (we havent had a spanish AP while ive been here – we have Spanish Training Leaders which is the equivalent to an AP for English) The whole mission thought Elder Cherry was going to be the next AP. Long story short, to me it looks like President is shredding the “latter” concept this transfer so
nobody thinks, “after you train you DL, and then you go ZL, and then
at 4 transfers left you are in the running for AP.” Really interesting!

I missed church at our building for my last Sunday here. We had SMC at 10am at the stake center (same time our sac meeting starts). So we went a little early to the Stake Center and had sacrament meeting in the Southlake Ward – funny to see everyones confusion when there was 2 additional missionaries in the ward. Then after the SMC, we were asked to attend the Stake JustServe Meeting and talk about how we can find more service opportunities. We got back to our building in time for priests quorum.

Elder Petersen sings, “I love you Arizona” around the apartment! Ive
indoctrinated him on the best state! haha Some missionaries in our
Zone had a video copy of the Gilbert Temple Cultural Celebration! Talk about random, but we borrowed it and watched it at night. They were all looking for me in there, but no luck! There was scene where Kayli had the whole screen and another where Nicholas had the whole screen! I was like, “WOAH! Thats my siblings!” and everyone crowded around to see – it was hilarious! But still. I love you Arizona!

This was SMC week – but it wasnt as bad! We put the load on the Ward Mission Leaders that should be theirs. We had them get it finished to us early in the week (followed up like crazy to do so) and when we compiled all the wards into one document, we sent the whole thing to the Ward Mission Leaders to revise. After edits, we were completed! Twas awesome! When the meeting came, we had a legit council on the missionary work in the Stake instead of just the 2 of us being hounded. Everyones getting more on top of things!

Before bed we’ll watch an episode of “The Joseph Smith Papers” and the Host Glenn Rawson makes the best faces! So we have used them to show the missionaries our feelings! hahah Below is this weeks.

We got Brother Procter to come to the Mission Presidents Fireside and it was awesome! At the beginning of the year we did a Book of Mormon Challenge as a mission. We handed out a ton! and we read the Book ourselves in 65 days. We committed members to hand them out as well. President Ames’ councilor, President Pratt gave one to his neighbors. At first they werent receptive, but after befriending them and doing activities together, his neighbors saw something different about them. After that, the neighbors remembered the Book of Mormon given to them and decided to read it. They were amazed! They after a while met with the missionaries and got Baptized! Brother and Sister Johnson spoke at
the fireside about the Book of Mormon and their conversion. It was
followed by President Ames speaking about the book of mormon and bearing testimony of it. It was very powerful! Afterward, Prother Procter spoke with President Ames and committed to read the Whole Book of Mormon all the way through! It was awesome! So happy for him.

Im going to definitely miss this place! But Im excited to do something different down south! From the richest stake here in Colleyville to one of the humblest in Waco.

I know the Book of Mormon is true! I stand with President Ames when he says, “If we were to read out of the Book of Mormon with real intent for at least 20 minutes everyday, we would stay at the center of the kingdom.” I also have seen what President Ezra Taft Benson speaks of when he said, “I feel certain that if, in our homes, parents will read from the Book of Mormon prayerfully and regularly, both by themselves and with their children, the spirit of that great book will come to permeate our homes and all who dwell therein. The spirit of reverence will increase; mutual respect and consideration for each other will grow. The spirit of contention will depart. Parents will counsel their children in greater love and wisdom. Children will be more responsive and submissive to the counsel of their parents. Righteousness will increase. Faith, hope, and charity–the pure love of Christ–will abound in our homes and lives, bringing in their wake peace, joy, and happiness” The Spirit brought by reading the Book of Mormon changes my mood every time without fail. I Invite yall to read from the Book of Mormon at least 20 Minutes everyday. I promise you will feel a difference!

I love all yall and I thank you for the emails, letters, and pictures.
It means a lot!

Meetings are going to be the death of me!

This week has been crazy busy!

Other than Monday (P-day) and Thursday (Weekly Planning) we had a meeting every other day… Tuesday we had our District Meeting,
Wednesday we facetimed into the other district meeting and was a part of it from our apartment office haha. Elder Petersen was asked to lead the missionaries in a recitation of our purpose, so the district
leader put his iPad in the front of the room and we addressed the room electronically! Supa-sweet. The District Leader was supposed to show a driving safety video to the district, but we had the DVD….So we brought up the video on our portable DVD player and held it up to the iPad so everyone could watch! hahah it was hilarious.

Friday we had Mission Leadership Council again! Elder Reed drove up here 3 hours from his area for it and it was an awesome reunion again! Love that man as life its self! He has me dying with laughter
everytime. In the meeting we talked a lot about Ward Mission Plans and how to help prepare our stakes and wards for making them. We talked about having another Book of Mormon mass invite/read/handout again! We handed out over 6,000 copies as a mission and this year we are going to hand out 8,200! and then invite the members to hand some out on top of that!

I was in charge of taking care of some sisters scriptures at the
meeting and that night she called asking for them… Long story short
I told her Id get back to her because they ended up 3 Hours south in
Waco…haha uh-oh…. ;]

I went on an exchange in a District Leader area this week and (I never thought Id say it butttt….) It was awesome to be back out on bike! I loved it! Contacting everyone of of those rude Texans was a trip! We taught a couple random people on the streets, and without fail, everyone we talked to HAD a book of mormon already! GO MEMBERS! There was a guy who said that he went to church with his member uncle and, “the missionaries used to come over weekly – it was a regular thing!” GO UNCLE! another man said he went camping with a buddy and his buddys brother (who was a member) and he said they talked about the gospel around the campfire! He asked for another Book of Mormon and, “Are yall going to be in the area anytime soon? Heck Bob yeah we are! GO MEMBER BUDDY!

Of course Conference was shweetish fish! “The Lord will qualify whom he calls.” was a favorite quote. I forgot my notes at the apartment, so Ill list some next week! As for the speakers:

-In the Saturday Morning Session I loved Elder Lawrence’s talk on
steady improvement!
-In the Saturday Afternoon Session I loved Elder Hollands talk on
mothers! Even though Im not one, nor ever will be, it was still pretty
boss! And made me really grateful for my mother and grandmothers!
-In the Priesthood Session, I loved Elder Anderson’s talk on Faith –
it was great!
-Also in the Priesthood Session, President Eyring’s words on our
Priesthood callings brought great comfort.
– I loved all of them, lets be honest….

I love our three new apostles! I could see the mantle fall on them as
much as I can see the mantle fall upon President Nelson in his recent
calling to be the president of the Quorum of the 12.

This week is SMC week again….So herding those cats again – pray for
us that the Ward Mission Leaders and Stake Presidency cut us some
slack on Sunday.

I love you all so much! Keep on strong!

Fasting, Prayer, and Sabbath Observance

We had a great first lesson with the part member Tutt family! We
studied hard on the restoration for them and prepared by praying with great faith all through the day and when we came to the lesson, all of his questions would be answered by the Plan of Salvation so we tossed our plans and was lead by the spirit, it was amazing! He was very open and all of his questions were answered! His wife (who is coming back after 8 years) texted us and thanked us because her husband felt peace about it all.

We had 3 missionary meetings this week. The first was Zone Conference (all day Tuesday. The last hour was great because we had our ward councils join us. Our Zone Conference was combined with 2 other zones/stakes and held up at the Lewisville Stake Center! Since that was the church building I met in for church in the Lakecities ward, I got to see some of my favorite members! Brother Irving and Brother Pumphrey. I miss that area dearly – talk about “homesickness” haha.

The second meeting was a Mission District Leader Council (for the
District and Zone Leaders) held on Friday morning. Gave us more
insight on how to work together. Friday afternoon we just stayed there and had a Sabbath Day Observance meeting. We talked about the sacredness if the day and how we can better realize how to show signs to God. President Ames talked about the immense irreverence that happens in the chapel on a typical Sunday. Especially before church starts. He challenged us to not chat in the chapel, at all. If we need to talk to someone, pull them out into the hall and talk – the chapel is a place for us to prepare for the sacrament. It should be silent! Challenge for my family and friends: Try this! Try not saying anything in the chapel on Sunday and use the time to ponder in preparation for the sacrament. The Sacrament will mean so much more!

We did our best to not talk in the chapel on Sunday and it was
difficult! People just want to talk and it is distracting! We were
able to hold tight for a while before everying started. We had a very
meaningful fast as well. Our dinner tried to ask us if we could eat at
2:00 and it was hard to find a way to not offend them by asking to eat at 5 (as to have a full fast). What got us through was the thought,
“fear God, not man.” I felt immediate blessings:

After dinner we went out to the car and found a paper on our
windsheild saying, “Hey! Next time yall are in the area, come stop by
my house! -Michael” it had his address included. Not sure if its a
basher, but we’ll find out! Also, we got a call from a former
investigator Todd who apparently had past baptismal dates with his
whole family! Todd said that he misses the spirit that he felt meeting
with the missionaries and coming to our church. We set up a lesson
with him for this week!

We have made great progress with returning members and less active members too! Brother Lee is opening up and laughing with us and is sharing his true feeling now, as before he was very closed and hard to read. Brother Procter had a bad week and felt discouraged about going to the temple and receiving the priesthood. We were able to help him realize how bad he wants it and he will start his preparations again this week! Brother Rogers got his Patriarchal Blessing! I love seeing change in them!

We tried being normal people for a couple hours giving service at a
donation place and see if we can STILL be missionaries. Guess what, it worked! And guess what, people didnt think it was weird we were
talking about the gospel while working – they were even asking
questions! Its possible everybody! Give it a shot! ;D haha

I know without a doubt that sincere prayer brings forth miracles!
“Pray always and not faint!”

Love yall most!

How can we expect it to be easy

Hey everyone!

Made some good headway this week.

We met with Lance and Celsa and talked about what it is going to take to get baptized. We talked more about the Restoration and the
importance. Hes been prepared! But now he just needs to get to church.

We did some service this week at a donation center and it was a blast! We sorted books, organized some christmas decorations, loaded them up and took them across town, and tossed some clothes in a truck! We finished our load on the truck and asked them what else we could do and they told us to chill. So we found some books that needed to be sorted, then jumped in a huge truck with one of the guys and took it to a warehouse by DFW Airport (I sat on a stool inbetween the driver and passenger seats :O) and unloaded it. At the end, We were going so fast they told us to take a break (we could tell they were running out of stuff for us to do) and so they had us toss some clothes in the truck. Pics added.

[Mom doesn’t know how to embed the video without first uploading it to Youtube, but this 4-second clip is fun – click to download it – Video (11)]

What made the week so stressful was preparing for the Stake Mission Coordination Meeting that happened yesterday. Our task at this time every month is to gather all the information about each of the recent converts, reactivations, baptisms, lessons taught, referrals received and contacted, contacts missionaries make with their Ward Mission Leader, progressing investigators, and so much more for the ten wards in the stake and compose it into a document. It ends up being 35 pages long! We have to get the missionaries and Ward Mission Leaders to send us a bunch of the information and it is like roping a flock of cats. Yes, a flock. We finally got all the info back by 9:30pm on Saturday night and put the remainder together. When we got to the meeting in the morning exhausted, the Ward Mission Leaders and a member of the stake presidency tore us apart. The document wasnt correct here, there and every which way (apparently). We work with a bunch of businessmen (multi millionaires). It was very nice to have our mission presidents
counselor and a ward mission leader come up after and thank us for the hard work and tell us we are doing a good job.

We went on Exchange with the APs again! I went with Elder Mansaray this time and it was cool to be with each other again and see the change that has happened with each of us over the last 1.5 years. Im not as big of a jerk! Hes a greater teacher! It was fun. We taught well together.

Sister Tutt brought her nonmember husband to church this week and they sat in Bishops office and talked yesterday! He had a lot of questions for him and it was a very good conversation! We will start teaching him this week! Whoooo!

Everyone, “How can we expect it to be easy when it never ever was easy for him?” (Elder Holland). But these things make every other thing so much easier to bear! Life is so rich! We just need to make the most out of everything.

It is so much fun to be out here!

I love all yall so much!
